about

“Calling You” was initially entitled “Voice of Your Father. “Written in 1972, I came to realize that during the time I spent looking at the trees, flowers, nature and feeling like there's something more to life, were actually times that my Father, heaven Father was calling me. All my life, God was calling me. All my life, God was calling me, and He is calling you. I answered the call and became a youth missionary for six years from 1972-1978 in Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Brazil.

lyrics

Verse 1:

If you hear the sound of music and there’s no one there but you
but the sound of the wind and the blue.
If when you smell the fragrance of the early morning dew
and it strikes a chord familiar to you.
Then in your heart you know, that there must be something more for you.
It’s the voice of your Father calling you.

Chorus:

He’s calling you, you my love. You must open up your heart. It’s the voice of your Father calling you.
He’s calling you, you my love. You must never turn away. It’s the voice of His spirit calling you.

Verse 2:

So, if you hear the sound of music and there’s no one there but you
but the sound of the wind and the blue.
If when you see the sun arise and it melts your heart anew
with the hope of a brighter world real soon. .

(Musical Interlude)
